One of the oldest forms of anxiety therapy is the practice of massage. In China during the 2nd Century it was first recorded. Massage is an automatic, instinctual response when someone is hurt, upset, or down and out. During times of stress, anxiety, and/or physical exhaustion people seek out massage services. In my practice, many of my clients come to me for full body massage, essential oil therapies, or reflexology to de-stress and relax.

In 2007 I went through a time where I experienced anxiety and panic attacks 24/7 due to out of control blood sugar and adrenal fatigue. These two issues take time to recover from so I scheduled weekly massage appointments to get me through that tough time of extreme restlessness. The appointments weren’t a luxury, they kept me mentally glued together.

Through one of my professional bodywork magazines I found an article on “Anti-Anxiety Foot Massage” that was very interesting. This technique developed by John Mramor that induces hypnosis and deep relaxation by using some simple techniques on the feet. It reminded me of the soothing power that touch and bodywork have on a person.

To further calm the mind, the use of therapeutic grade (not health food store) essential oils have proven to be very effective. For example, Meikai University in Japan found inhaling lavender and rosemary essential oils reduces the stress hormone cortisol. In my practice, there are many blends that seem to work in an instant for overwhelm and stress. They smell fabulous and are a much better option for people that would rather not use tranquilizers.

There are many bodywork practices that I find particularly helpful for anxiety relief. Hot stone massage, Reiki, Raindrop Technique, yoga, Swedish massage, and acupuncture just name a few. The body releases feel good hormones during a bodywork session the help us feel more balanced and centered.

Anxiety Natural Remedies: Breathing and Relaxation

The condition of anxiety thrives on shallow breathing, so a major weapon we have in combating anxiety through natural anxiety treatment is simply to learn and develop deep breathing, which actually relaxes our whole system.

Proper deep breathing is a method that uses the whole length, width and depth of the diaphragm, letting this large, long and wide muscle relax so it allows the breath to reach its full potential.

Deep breathing in this case does not mean taking rapid deep breaths that in the end exhaust us, it is a means to relax and fill us with a calm yet vital energy.

Anxiety Natural Remedies: Psycho-Physical Exercise

The condition of anxiety also thrives on an overload of mental energy, disorganised and scattered, fearful thinking, the rest of our being just the recipient of these negative thought patterns which transform into psycho-somatic manifestations, ie physical discomfort and even illness.

So, in order to combat this ‘takeover’ of the body and its energy by the mind and stop perpetuating the anxiety condition, we can start using the body and our vital energy for natural anxiety relief to bring equilibrium to our being. Don’t worry, this is really very simple!

Psycho-physical exercises simply involve body movement and deep breathing. In Yoga and Tai Chi, for example, the movements are synchronised with the breath, while in ‘Shaking and Breathing’ they are less so, but are still equally important.

Anxiety Natural Remedies: Counselling
The condition of anxiety also thrives on scattered thinking and confusion, where we lose our natural ability to see ourselves and our situation clearly. So, being able to put it all out into words with someone who is outside the situation and not judgmental, we start to see what is relevant and what is not, we begin to sort out the root cause of a problem.

And, of course, we get feedback, which is invaluable as an anxiety state tends to blind us to reality, of ourselves and of others. Moreover, the simple fact of sharing one’s problems and difficulties can itself be enormously reassuring because we feel we are no longer alone with our fear.

Anxiety Natural Remedies: Hypnosis and Self-Hypnosis: positive re-programming of your mind

The condition of anxiety is one of repetitive negative imagination where one fears and even believes in the worst outcome.

So, our negative thoughts and beliefs will certainly tend to create negative results, but powerful help is at hand through techniques of re-programming our mind with life-affirming, positive thoughts and beliefs, especially about ourselves. For the amazing truth is that our fundamental beliefs and values determine, to a very large degree, the quality of our lives.

We can begin to change ourselves from within by listening to positive thoughts, which are absorbed by our subconscious mind. This may be achieved through either an outside source, eg a specialist CD program, or even through ‘hypnotising’ ourselves!

Here are below just a few anxiety cures, most of which I have tried and found to be extremely effective:
Aromatherapy, Self-hypnosis for weight loss and quit smoking programs, How to relieve pain and stress with self massage, Learning massage, How to get rid of headaches, anxiety and panic attacks, How to relax and sleep like a baby, Reflexology, Reiki, How to overcome depression, etc.

Such anxiety natural remedies can produce astonishingly effective results, so my advice would be not to procrastinate if you feel attracted to any of them.

And of course, we can also use such anxiety natural remedies in conjunction with any other therapeutic program we might be involved in.

Natural anxiety relief are available in many different ways. The word “natural” is often used whenever discussing getting rid of anxiety, to explain a way apart from prescribed medication use. Though prescription medication may help in getting an overall cure for anxiety and panic disorder, frequently folks look for self-help methods to locate aid from anxiety before they have to embark on a more complex plan which may interfere with their everyday living.

For this reason, there have been numerous methods tried to avoid the necessity of treatment. Many people have attempted herbal treatments and many have found a degree of relief from anxiety by utilizing them.

Nevertheless, be cautious when using herbs since they also, like prescription medications, may have side effects. They are able to interfere as well as react adversely when used in combination with specific prescription medications. They can also provide adverse side effects if used with over-the-counter medications.

Over and above that, using too many of them may also have adverse side outcomes. Any person trying to avoid the outcomes brought on by prescription medication will also probably want to avoid using herbs whenever seeking comfort from anxiety.

One self-help technique many individuals have discovered relief by using is actually progressive relaxation. Progressive relaxation or any kind of relaxation technique for that matter can be very useful when applied as part of a regular program. By using relaxation methods a person brings her or himself into a really calm state. Then, whenever dealing with an advanced level of stress, here she could recall the feelings of this intense relaxation. This can be very helpful.

Some relief from anxiety comes when real one realizes many millions more and more people throughout the world suffer from exactly the same feelings anxiety attacks are bringing on him or her. Anxiety sufferers are not alone, that’s for sure. It is also advantageous to recognize many, many people have been remedied from anxiety/panic condition and a cure is certainly possible without using prescription medications or medications.

One of many secrets to conquering anxiety is usually to be able to address the feelings anxiety brings on. Recognize they are short term rather than truly medically significant. Of course, any kind of feelings one has including chest discomfort or even lightheadedness, should be taken to the attention of your medical professional.

Nevertheless, if the doctor has concluded these feelings result from anxiety, the patient should realize, the next time anxiety hits, that these feelings are simply just nerves and never truly a medical disaster.

The most anxious people I know are also the most fearful and worrisome ones. Even if they recognize it as a problem, they are unable to keep their anxieties at bay.

Once you admit your anxieties to be a problem, the key to relieving yourself of it is to face it. Facing your anxieties brings you solutions that can help you rid of it. On the other hand, continually ignoring the problem can lead to more extreme forms of illnesses such as paranoia. By constantly telling yourself these 5 things, you can take control of your anxiety:

a)	?It is ok if things go unexpected and mistakes happen?- of importance to relieving anxiety is being more flexible to changes and things that may be beyond your control. See mistakes and unforeseen events not as unfortunate blunders but as opportunities to explore and grow.

b)	Delay your anxiety-an effective strategy which I myself use. For instance, rather than being anxious the entire time on whether your friend will pick you up on time so you will not be late for an event, I tell myself ?I will worry about it only on this day and at this time.? This keeps you from being preoccupied with unnecessary worries the rest of the day.

c)	?I need to live one day at a time?- instead of overwhelming yourself with endless future possibilities, focus your thoughts on only one thing: the present. As in meditation, you need to clear your thoughts, live more in the present moment and stop yourself from thinking too far ahead.

d)	Positive thinking- should it really be difficult for you to turn your thoughts to the present at all times, look on the brighter side of things to come. Remember, 70%-80% of your fears are unreal. When anxious, challenge your current fears by thinking of previous worries and how many of them actually came true.

e)	Open up- anxiety should not be bottled up. Rather than thinking to yourself all the time or doing mind chatting, talk to a trusted confidante who would not feed on your anxieties. Rather, he or she can help you gain new perspectives of those you are often anxious about.

These strategies will surely take time to learn especially if anxiety has been plaguing you for some time now. Yet the more you try to do them, you can surely expect rewards that will make you happier and less anxious.

How to stop panic attacks?

Anxiety is more than just feeling worried. It can actually get to the point where it is disabling. Many people who suffer from anxiety find themselves unable to enjoy or even participate in everyday activities, and quite a few become housebound due to their fear of being outside (a condition known as agoraphobia). The traditional narcotics that have been used to treat this condition may be very effective, but they are also highly addicting, and their effectiveness begins to wane over time with long-term use. Fortunately, there are many natural cures for anxiety that are highly effective, and can actually be even more effective than prescription drugs! Here are some natural cures you can use the very next time you feel anxious!

You deserve an invigorating massage! Not only does it soothe your aching muscles that eliminates pressure but it also takes out stress and anxiety. A relaxing massage therapy gives your body proper blood circulation all throughout plus a more calming effect due to your body’s declined level of stress hormones.

Take your B vitamins! B vitamins reduce the anxiety levels in your brain and soothe your nerves over the long-term. Taking a regular B complex vitamin is one of the best natural cures for anxiety, and it keeps you feeling calm all the time, not just when you are taking your vitamin.

Try the method of deep-breathing. Whenever you feel nervous, relax yourself by taking a deep breath, holding it for 7 seconds and then, release. You can do the exact breathing process for as long as you want and let those restless nerves settle down. Decreasing heart rate, lowering blood pressure and proper distribution of useful chemicals into the body are the benefits of constant deep breathing techniques.

Drink green tea. Most health practitioners will tell you to avoid caffeine if you are feeling anxious. While green tea DOES have caffeine, it is a negligible amount, and the beneficial properties of the tea outweigh its minuscule caffeine content. Green tea contains an amino acid called L-theanine, which has a calming effect on the brain. It also increases your production of dopamine, which is a natural sedating chemical produced by the body.

Many studies have suggested that drinking green tea is such a powerful natural cure for anxiety that it is as effective as narcotic medication. The next time you are feeling anxious, reach for a cup of green tea (and if you are worried about the caffeine content, it’s also available in a decaf version).

Many times the natural way is the safest way. Naturally-Cure offers information on natural remedies for acne, snoring, diabetes & more.
In my days dealing with anxiety, I found that figuring out how to cure anxiety attacks was going to be a huge problem for me.

In my days dealing with anxiety, I found that figuring out how to cure anxiety attacks was going to be a huge problem for me.

It would always be the same for me it seemed.

In the middle of living my life I would always get hit with bad anxiety, even when I tried not to think about my disorder.

I would instantly get sweaty and my heart would beat so fast I always thought that this panic attack would finally be the one that I wouldn’t live through.

Then the derealization would come on, and all of the sudden I would feel like I was living inside a world that wasn’t real, but was very scary.

I became obsessed with how horrible I was going to feel while I was trying to have fun and live life. I became such a slave to feeling sick and panicked that I could not hardly live with severe anxiety any longer.

It would be some years before I figured out how to cure anxiety attacks in a manner that did not involve taking any addictive medication.

I took all kinds of prescriptions, but each one seemed to only mask the problem for me. After a while, they didn’t even work at all, and the side-effects were not much fun.

Then after some time, I began to get tolerance withdrawals from taking this stuff, which was even worse than the actual anxiety that I had.

I learned to live with panic though, because I didn’t have any other choice. It never seemed to kill me like I thought it would so many times, but it also never made any attempt to go away on its own.

My symptoms which had been normal for anxiety started to change, and they even got worse.

At the beginning of my anxiety life, I would have the traditional symptoms like:

Pounding pulse and heartbeat.

Trouble breathing.

Feeling dizzy.

Irritability.

Then after a bunch of years, I got new symptoms like:

Feeling impending doom.

Depersonalization.

The feeling of living underwater.

Tingling/numbness in my face and head.

The face numbness was the last straw for me, especially when I had to go to the emergency room to make sure I wasn’t actually dying.

That was it. Either I would figure out how to cure anxiety attacks somehow, or I would spend the rest of my days living in constant fear.

I did figure out that getting rid of panic/anxiety was going to be up to me, because I finally understood where it was coming from.

Once you know you can cure your anxiety, you will find that you will not die from it, and you can be your own cure.

Stress can have numerous effects on a person’s well-being. However, it’s not just their welfare that is at stake. It can have a wide array of physiological effects too. And, stress’s effects on the body are vastly numerous. People who have stress will face emotional issues like anxiety, insomnia or irritability. However, a person who’s got a lot of stress in their life needs to be mindful of the physiological effects on top of the emotional symptoms, and this generally means looking for anxiety help or getting a natural anxiety help. Yes, there is help for anxiety.

According to the American Institute of Stress, the most common symptoms sufferers have is nervous ticks, extreme hair loss, cardiovascular disease, aggravated digestive tract and lower back pain. As stress increases in a person’s life, that person is harmed more and more every day from the physiological effects.

The body of a human is sensitive to stress and anxiety triggers and will respond in varying degrees such as getting a minor headache or dealing with a full blown migraine or even suffering with back pain. It’s vital to understand bodily functions to entirely appreciate how important it is to see the harmful effects stress has on it.

The nervous system is the body most vulnerable part. As stress begins to invade a person’s life, it triggers an enormous buildup of tension, which leads to a staggering blockage of nerve energy. This is a domino effect that comes from the triggers of stress. When the tension continues to grow, the nerve energy continues to become blocked. Due to this buildup, the nervous system starts to function strangely. The nervous system’s strange operation leads to a person suffering with a nervous tick. This development is an inclination that something is stressing the body.

The spinal system is the other system affected by having a stress lifestyle. Many people who suffer from a spinal problem don’t have a clue that stress is the root reason. Both the spinal and nervous system are vulnerable.

Your body’s nervous and spinal systems work in close proximity to each other like the other bodily systems. When you’re feeling tension increasing in your nerves, your spine is going to feel it too. What will happen at the end is that spinal distortion begins since it’ll give way to that negative energy that’s been building from the tension.

It’s alarming to find out the disadvantages of stress effects. However, the method to treat it means more. A person might consider seeing their local Network chiropractor. Yet, the most effective treatments for getting a handle stress involve some already-committed practices like yoga, wellness rhythms, meditation, Network Spinal Analysis. These practices come highly recommended by people who suffer from these anxiety and stress-related problems. Network Spinal Analysis helps the body learn self regulating spinal stress and tension methods for improved nerve energy flow, better health and improved wellness.

Do you suffer with low back pain, hair loss, or anxiety, then you might want to look into some help for anxiety, as you can guess that you lead a stressful life. Keep in mind that excessive amounts of stress can do your lifestyle great harm, which is why you need anxiety help such as a natural anxiety cure.

Got Stress? Welcome to the modern world and our new economy. It is hard to imagine in our current times that we will not be under stress. The current economic crises and now our response to it must put unprecedented stress on our bodies. When you are under stress your muscles will tense up, breathing is increased, heart rate is picked up as we poise to deal with the situation at hand. Afterwards, a nice jaunt to the day spa would work. So you too, don’t have time, then consider coming home to a massage chair recliner.

Our response is biologically programmed and unconscious. Our bodies kick into pure survival mode, like when that saber-toothed tiger jumped out of the bush. We are ready to fight or take flight. With the dawning of the new economy our stress is psychological and not physical. Unfortunately, our bodies do not make the distinction. Our bodies release major amounts of chemicals to ensure short term survival. Trouble is, we need to flush those chemicals out of our bodies.

Now, we are not going to be able to avoid stress, but we can learn to counteract it. We need to have a means to reverse the stress building process. Call this a relaxation response. This would be a state of deep relaxation which would be the opposite of the stress. The relaxation response would bring the body back into balance, reduce the stress chemical release and slow down the muscles and organs.

A massage has the attributes of the relaxation response. A massage helps your body to relax. Certain massages like a reflexology massage, for example, can actually reverse the stress reaction. Reflexology massage targets the trigger points in your feet or hands which help relax and calm the major organs. As the major organs relax, the rest of the body follows bringing total body relaxation. A massage also helps to bring greater mental awareness and clarity.

Swedish massage and Shiatsu massage are the two most universal massage therapies. They have different treatments for the body and different benefits. Both are effective and depend on what the user is looking for. Shiatsu has its origin in Japan. It uses pressure, kneading and tapping to increase awareness while relaxing the whole body. Swedish has its origin in Northern Europe. It uses a combination of 6 techniques to relieve and rejuvenate the muscles throughout the body.

Now these two techniques have been masterfully reproduced by modern technology. Welcome to the new age of the machine! Top companies like Panasonic, Omega, Human Touch and Sanyo have massage chairs that provide these massage therapies and many more. They have acupressure, reflexology, deep tissue, sports massage. They also got you covered from head to toe. Stress has met its balancing partner with the touch of a button.

Additionally, massage chair companies are adding capabilities such as stretching, heat therapy and music. You can create a virtual spa in your own home. Remember your stress builds up on a continuous basis. You must create a relaxation response on a continuous basis as well. A massage chair is the most convenient and economical methods to achieve this. If you got stress, then start a relaxation response with your own massage chair recliner.

Got Stress? Get effective stress relief with a Massage Chair Recliner from Panasonic, Omega, or Sanyo.
